It really does not
take them much time to steal your heart.

"Hidy" posed for her first picture.
This is her first day here. We picked her up at the airport and she is all of 6 lbs and 8 1/2" tall. Born on 10-18-09 she's healthy and makes our life wealthy. |
"Sissy" is the black one.
Hidy is running circles around Sissy to find out who's boss. Oddly enough, Hidy is winning the boss issue today, but Sissy don't mind, she knows the truth. |
"Hunter" is ready to hunt. It's definitely in his blood.
He's about a month older than Hidy, but they get along just fine. |
When they are awake, they are playing.
This is a regular thing with JRTs. Constant motion. |
Hidy always ends up with the toys.
I think Hunter lets her win. He probably has expectations for her later in life. |
Hidy's a Ham
This girl must have ambitions for modeling...or clowning. |
When we say "shake", she'll sit up to do it.
When we say "down"
She will look to see if we have a treat in our hand....if we do she will go the extra mile. |
The extra mile...
She'll roll over before we say "roll over" |
And over
and over
Sometimes
She's just a clown that would make anyone laugh. |
And this is "Dollar"
She is the last that we will add to our JRT family. She came from a good friend that started us with JRTs. He offered her to us for free, but I gave him a dollar and said that would be her name. |
The one on the right is "Shadow"
She came up from Waco with Dollar and a good friend of mine took her home. He needed company and she didn't know what to do in a crowd of dogs. |
Their farewell meeting
But my friend and I do a lot of fishing together, so they will see each other again. I don't know how to tell them that, but they'll find out soon. |
It was a hard choice to make on which pup to keep
After all, is there anything cuter than this.
We'll yes there is something cuter.
AND she's cute 24 hours a day |
She is a tub of joy.
Although,
some of the glimmer of joy can be reduced when she is aimed your way. I guess puppies bite because that's all they know at this stage. |
But she is a pup
And everyone likes puppies |
So the Buck stops here
Or, Dollar is staying. |
Dollar just can't seem to find another place to sit.
Lap Time
They argue, but at the lake, they all play together.
I believe she was actually thinking!
After Hunter spent the time to hunt, he finally jumped his shadow.
"Yes, I do have big teeth...."
"I'm not about to open my mouth and say "AH" or anything else."
